Thanh Nguyen is a freshmen at Penn state, going to major in medical and currently working with (ITSRG) at Temple University. Before he join the ITSRG he doesn't know how to use twitter, blogs and podcast. After the program he know how to do everything dealing with technology. He know how to post URL, embed video, and change background on twitter. He hope that this knowledge can be use in the future and the next.

Emergancy Preparedness Group

University group just interview a group called Emergency Preparedness. what they did is they present safety tip to senior citizen. A tip that can be used in certain types of disaster. They will be visiting senior homes and presenting their project to them. Their goal is to visit at least ten homes before August 14th.

Interesting part of the movie

yesterday I was watching movie call inconvenient truth, there was a part that very surprising. If Green lands massive ice sheet were to melt, something that could occur over the very long term, they could raise the sea level by 23 feet 7 meters. I never knew it, I never thought that could happened. I thought when the ice froze the sea level decrease because they use water from the sea, and when the ice melt the sea level will be at the same level that when they didn't freeze.

A brief Twitter Tutorial For New User!!!!!

Today my group just explain how to use twitter to 4 group at Temple youth network social media.
I'm going to explain briefly how to use twitter such as putting picture for your background, design, reply back to people, and following people in twitter. visit WWW.twitter.com

Design and Background :
1. After you create your twitter account go to setting.
2. click on design at the far left side on your gray bar.
3.you should see a background and design setting.
4. click on background
5.you can choose the background that they provided or you can browser
6. for design click design
7. you should see 5 option and their color below them change whatever color you like.

Reply back to people:
1.click on home
2. point at the person that reply to you don't click them just point
3. you should see a back reply on the far right corner

following:
1.go to search bar, type what ever you want to search for don't forget to pound I mean the symbol # . etc I would search for #green because my group is doing about green stuff.
2.click on their picture or their user name.
3. You see should follow below their picture

Bicycles Temple News!!!!

We just interview a group call bicycle temple. Their purpose is to pursue temple people to use a bike instead of car. They said is easy to park your bike than car because there a lot of bike rack at temple, is like every where. And for car is hard to find parking lot for it and maybe you need to pay to get a good parking lot.
